Ukraine: COVID-19 vaccination HUB for Ukrainian refugees in Naples

Naples, with its new mayor Manfredi and the governor De Luca, is ready to welcome the refugees fleeing Ukraine, currently involved in the now Russian conflict. As already stated in a previous article, i first refugees were welcomed on XNUMXst March at the Albergo dell'Ospedale del Mare building.

In addition to free psychological support and to the demonstrations for peace, now the city wants to make a new contribution: fast and rapid access to COVID-19 vaccine. For this reason a vaccination hub dedicated exclusively to Ukrainians.

It is located with precision in the area of ​​the former Covid Residence of the Ospedale del Mare. A special one tensile structure set up by the Civil Protection of the Campania Region which will be operational as of tomorrow morning (7 March 2022) under the health coordination of theASL Napoli 1 Center.

This Vaccination HUB it is part of the first reception dedicated to refugees and to activate the health checks dedicated to them. The route provides:

  • Registration by the State Police;
  • Release code STP (Temporarily Present Foreigner) necessary to obtain essential health services;
  • Implementation of the Buffer COVID-19;
  • Administration (voluntary) of the Vaccine anti-COVD-19;
  • Hospitality at the Residence of the Ospedale del Mare.
