The appointment with "A ghost in every alley" is back in Naples for Halloween 2017: a scary walk with a lantern!
The Halloween tour "A ghost in every alley" takes place every year by the Insolitaguida association and also this time there will be two events, Wednesday 31 October and Thursday 1 November 2017.
The route will start at sunset and immerse the participants in the atmosphere of mystery and in the stories that have always crowded the Neapolitan alleys. The guide will bring one faint light of a lanternwhich, according to tradition, makes it possible to better grasp the rapid movements of all the mysterious figures that populate the historic center of Naples.
It starts from Piazza Miraglia, which is said to have become the patrimony of a famous family of necrofori, and then passed through the Church of the Souls at Purgatory where the girls of marriageable age prayed to Princess Lucia so that they could receive the grace to soon marry.
We will also visit the palace known as residence of the ghost from the Elephant Head, which became famous thanks to a comedy by Eduardo De Filippo, and will continue in search of the ghost of the Prince of San Severo and the hooded silhouettes of Maria d'Avalos and her lover Fabrizio Carafa, who are said to still meet secretly.
