There are several national networks that, the 2nd June, At the Republic Day, have decided to change their schedules. Even for fans of A Place in the Sun, who had hoped to the end that their favorite soap was not blocked, the sad news has arrived.
The next week will also be short for UPAS which, like other soaps (such as Terra Amara at Mediaset), it won't air on the evening of 2 June. In its place, a celebratory sporting event. Let's find out all the details!
Friday June 2, 2023 UPAS will not be there
Among all the changes that will affect the Rai networks on the occasion of the Republic Day, the most relevant certainly concerns the cancellation of the appointment with Un Posto al Sole. The Neapolitan soap, which keeps millions of viewers glued to the television screen every evening, in fact, will observe a day off.
In its place, on the third national network, a sporting event with celebratory purposes will be broadcast, i.e. the Pietro Mennea Athletics Gala. In this case, the appointment will start at 20:00 and end two hours later, at 22:00.
The possibility of a suspension had already been in the air for some time but it still struck a lot the fans who, next week, will have only 4 dates with their favorite soap. Indeed, this time it is not expected (as happened recently) no double dating to “recover” the lost bet.
What will happen next week in UPAS?
Although the week of UPAS from 29 May to 1 June will be shorter than usual, this does not mean that it will be emotionless. In fact, there are many twists and turns we will see! To capture the attention will still be the story of Lara whose plan, with the arrival of Ida in Naples, will be ever closer to crumbling.
Lara will try to convince her to return to Poland but we will see an Ida who is very intent on taking back her son. And what will happen when she shows up at the Ferri house? Giulia will prepare to greet Franco and Angela leaving, fearing to be alone while Manuela, disappointed in Niko, Costabile will note. New love in sight?
