For its first edition, the Vesuvius Pizza Fest in Torre Annunziata offers many events, food and fireworks!
La Votive festival, in honor of Our Lady of the Snow, we will celebrate a Torre Annunziata on 22 October 2016. The program of appointments was organized by the Oplontina municipal administration and by the Department of Culture headed by Imma Alfano, but the main events will revolve around the Vesuvio Pizza Fest from 21 to 24 October. Some exhibitions, however, will last until 30 October.
It will be a rich program of musical and dancing performances with the artists and schools of Torre Annunziata and at the end of the festival there will be the traditional ones fireworks, in addition to the much loved pizza.
The celebrations will begin Tuesday 18 October.

Votive Festival Program
Tuesday October 18 2016
at 17 pm the mayor Giosuè Starita will give the Madonna a crown of flowers which will be placed at the foot of the throne of the Brown Virgin located in the pontifical Basilica in Piazza Giovanni XXIII della Pace.

Inauguration of the synthetic turf field at the Salesian House in via Margherita di Savoia.
At 20: 00 there will be the festival of Gnocco alla Sorrentina.
Vesuvio Pizza Fest
Friday October 21 2016
at 19:00 opening of the food stands on the occasion of the Vesuvio Pizza Fest in Piazza Cesàro (the event will continue until Sunday 23 October, while on Monday 24 October it will move to the Municipal Villa in via Marconi, again at 19:00)
At 09: 00 at the Giraud stadium will be played the game of the heart organized by the Pythagorean High School to collect the funds that will be used to support the project "A bridge to the island of Idjwi" by Salvatore Cimmino.
At 18: 30 will take place the show of the flag-wavers and the parade of fishermen with period costumes along Corso Umberto I and Corso Vittorio Emanuele III.
At 19: 00 there will be the dancing show in Piazza Cesàro organized by the volunteer association "Auser new solidarity"
At 20: 00 the city dance schools will perform on the stage of the square
At 21:00 the Municipal Youth Forum and the city youth groups will propose the “Rap Freestyle Battle” show in Piazza Nicotera.
Saturday October 22 2016
at 06: 00 the Basilica will open the doors to welcome the faithful.
At 08: 30 Mass will be celebrated presided over by Bishop Beniamino Depalma and Mons. Raffaele Russo.
At the 10: 00 will take place the procession, the fishermen will carry the Madonna on the streets of the city.
At 20: 30 the band Friends of Elia Rosa will be the protagonist, in Piazza Cesàro, of the musical show "Mille Culure Band". Alfonso D'Apuzzo, Cherubino Fariello, Anzo Anoldo, Antonio Mabelli and Pasquale De Angelis will perform.
At 20: 30 will begin the dance show of ASD Lisa Dance in Piazza Nicotera

At 20: 30 there will be the etnofolk show by Simone Carotenuto and the Tammorrari del Vesuvio with "Vient'e Tammurriat '".

Monday 24 October 2016
Final evening dedicated especially to young people, with the DJ sets of Frankee Dee, Alph De Greek, J Fontana and Alex Noise, at the town hall.
At 22.30, the long-awaited show of fireworks on the public beach.
At 00: 00 will host Gabriele Esposito, the Torrese dancer winner of the "dance" section of the latest edition of "Amici" and to end the evening there will be a live show by Vincenzo Pinto.
Valentino Voice will entertain the public and present the events

at 19:00 at the Basilica of the Madonna della Neve, there will be the concert of the choir "Balck Forest Tigers" of Emmendingen organized by the president of the Torresi nel Mondo association, Oscar Guidone.
