The Christmas Village in Piazza Municipio in Naples with markets and Elves

Also in Piazza Municipio in Naples will arrive the 2016 Christmas Village with market and a minivillage of the Elves!

Among the many Christmas 2016 events in Naples, there is also a new feature that will make both adults and children happy: the Christmas Village that will be set up in Piazza Municipio.

Organized by D2 Eventi, the Naples Christmas Village will be held in the square from December 2nd to 11th, 2016 , and will be completely free of charge to the Municipality . In fact, the D2 Eventi Association will cover all expenses and pay the land use taxes.

The Village will feature themed houses , similar to those found in traditional Northern European Christmas markets.

The Village will have free admission and Radio Amore Napoli will dedicate its programming to the Village.

The Elven Village

Inside, there will also be a fantastic mini-village of elves with a toy shop , a toy village where little ones can help the elves build all the toys that Santa Claus will deliver around the world, a puppet theater , and a booth showcasing the artisanal production of ancient Venetian sweets. There will also be Santa's post office where you can post your wish lists, and gospel choirs will make everything even more Christmassy.

The entertainment will be run by the Puerta del Sol association, which will entertain the children. Staff will be dressed as elves to help the little ones write their letters. They will work in the outdoor toy factory to demonstrate how toys are made.

Markets and street food

Inside the Christmas Village there will also be many stands where you can find tasty street food to taste while walking.
In total there will be 40 lodges with products of gastronomic and confectionery companies, such as the historic chocolate shop Gallucci and the Campania and Sicilian pastry shops, but also with original ideas for Christmas and aarea entirely dedicated to products for the Nativity scene, especially those made by Michele De Vito's San Gregorio.

Street food options include Chocociccio, a Casaluke cocoa-flavored treat from the Onufrio pastry shop, Poppella's sweets, cuoppi di carne e patatine (meatball and potato chips) , caciocavallo impiccato (hanging caciocavallo), Sicilian cassata and cannoli, a pulled pork sandwich , Irpinia cured meats from Iannella, products from the Ansuini brothers from Norcia, Forst beer in a Christmas-themed box , Vitagliano wines, Leonetti toys, and fun Napolimania gadgets.
