An extraordinary guided tour of the Castel dell'Ovo in Naples with an aperitif at Borgo Marinari!
Saturday March 5 2016, the guides of Naples and Dintorni, in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Castles, have organized an extraordinary visit to the Castel dell'Ovo, the ancient fortress symbol of Lungomare Caracciolo in Naples.
The castle stands on the islet of Megaride, where the mermaid Partenope is said to be buried, joined to the mainland by sea fillings.
With the first lights of sunset, which reflect their reddish colors in the blue of the sea of the gulf, we will enter the castle, where a guide will show us themilitary architecture and, in an extraordinary way, the doors of theancient Church of the Savior, located inside the stronghold.
At the end of the guided tour we can enjoy one fresh aperitif in Borgo Marinari, a place close to the Castel dell'Ovo that offers an enchanting panoramic view.
