The theatrical guided tour “The Testament of Stone” returns to the Sansevero Chapel!
"The Stone Testament", curated by the Cultural Association NarteA, returns with new dates at San Severo Chapel of Naples, in the evening opening hours.
Reduced by the success of the last few seasons, the theatrical guided tour will in fact be revived 22 October, 26 November and 17 December 2016 and 28 January 2017, 25 February 2017 and 18 March 2017. Other dates are also scheduled for the 2017.
We will start with a guided tour to discover the works and history of the Chapel and the Underground Cavea, and then continue with the show written by Febo Quercia and interpreted by professional actors. The pièce will transport the audience into the suggestive world of the Prince Raimondo di Sangro, inventor, patron and alchemist Neapolitan.
Monologues and dialogues of the Prince and of other characters will exalt the genius of the famous illuminist. A journey through history that intertwines the different environments of the museum, from the mysterious Anatomical Machines to the extraordinary sculptures of the Veiled Christ, Disillusion and Pudiance.
