Special evening visits to the archaeological excavations of Paestum and Velia: discovering the history of these places between shows and events with a 1 euro ticket!

Starting from Friday 2 October 2020 and for 20 evenings until December The Archaeological excavations of Paestum and Velia they organize special evening visitsi with a rich program of events and shows.
You will then have the opportunity to walk in the moonlight between the Temples of Paestum and the archaeological excavations of Velia, to spend a pleasant and suggestive evening to discover these places full of magic and history, with a 1 euro ticket.
Evening openings in Paestum and Velia
A Paestum the evening openings will begin with the event Apology of Socrates by Plato with the original music of Irina Solinas, while from 10 October the appointments will be dedicated to the little ones together with their families with the special event Pulcinella tells Paestum.
A Velia instead the event will be held Velia in the moonlight with a special and suggestive path with lanterns among the archaeological excavations.
Evening visits to Velia and Paestum: the dates
All appointments will be held mainly of Saturday, but you can also visit the excavations in the evening on the occasion of holidays and festivities. Here are all the dates:
- 2, 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 October 2020
- 7, 14, 20, 21, 28 November 2020
- 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 19, 20, 26, 27 December 2020
On 2 and 3 October and 14, 20 and 21 November 2020 in Paestum you can visit both the Museum and the archaeological excavations, on the other dates only the Museum will be open to visitors.
