Vissi d'Arte, the life of five painters on stage at the PAN in Naples

The lives of five extraordinary painters will be staged at the PAN of Naples!

From 5 to 9 September 2015 , the atrium of the PAN in Naples will host “Vissi d'Arte” , a series of theatrical performances dedicated to the lives of five extraordinary painters.

The event, under the artistic direction of Mirko Di Martino, presents a program of five extraordinary performances that will, respectively, recount the turbulent lives of Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo , Modigliani, Caravaggio and Artemisia Gentileschi.

Thanks to the work of five companies from all over Italy, the Neapolitan public will be fully immersed in the experiences of famous artists , whose artistic production is renowned throughout the world.

The biographies of the protagonists are still little known, so thanks to “Vissi d'Arte” it will be possible to understand that behind such genius, there are tormented lives, lived on the margins of society, often marked by violence, drugs, crime, painful loves and incurable diseases.

The PAN festival will therefore be a special occasion where acting, dance, and singing will merge completely with the artists' lives and their masterpieces, giving life to a unique, elegant, and sophisticated show.
