The Vitigno Italia wine fair returns to Naples from 2 to 4 June in Castel dell'Ovo, for a weekend dedicated to Italian drinking and good food
Vine Italy, the first national exhibition of wine and Italian wine territories reaches its XNUMXth edition this year and will be held, as every year, in the evocative location of Castel dell'Ovo in Naples, from 2 to 4 June.
Once again our city will become the capital of wine, and the lands of the South will be the protagonists of the realities and emerging companies of the sector, in addition to the most renowned national brands.
The real novelty of this year will be the partnership with companies of typical products from Campania and Italy, to offer visitors an all-round experience that also involves the palate.
The Gragnano pasta of the Di Martino factory, the Consortium for the protection of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP, the Consortium for the protection of Gorgonzola DOP cheese, the Consortium of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP and the Consortium for the protection of Pecorino Romano DOP will have a space dedicated to them on the first floor of the castle, with tastings and special tastings, obviously combined with a wide selection of wines.
An area of Virgil's Antro will host a real one pasta bar of De Martino in which the pasta will be freshly prepared and will be immediately ready to be tasted by the public.
Vine Italy will propose a journey through the wines of Italy, represented by over 2000 labels from national and emerging producers and niche wineries. Also this year 5000 operators of the wine sector will be hosted, including wine bars, restaurants, sommeliers, and 12 thousand visitors are expected from all over Italy but also of international origin.
Another noteworthy aspect is theenvironmental sustainability which from this year will characterize the wine show. All the materials of the exhibition will come from separate collection and, along the route, containers for the recycling of cork and glass will be placed.
