VitignoItalia 2017 is the Wine Show that will take place in the Castel dell'Ovo in Naples!
From 21 to 23 May 2017 in Castel dell'Ovo, in Naples, It will take place "VitignoItalia“, The XNUMXth edition of the Salone dei Vini and Italian wine-growing territories. This is the most important enological event that will offer seminars dedicated to wine production and, for connoisseurs of the nectar of the Gods, a journey through the tastings of Italian wines will be proposed.
To participate in the event there will be 200 wineries coming from every part of Italy, but giving greater prominence to those bells. The “one to one workshop” area will be set up in which you will find a workstation dedicated to international buyers, essential for the wine business. In addition, representatives of the national and foreign press will also be present.
Italy has about 700.000 hectares of land dedicated to the cultivation of 350 varieties of fine grapes, unlike Spain which only produces 20 and Australia only 15. VitignoItalia is an event of great economic impact that enhances the vines of our land and does not yield to the temptations of a market that would like to go towards the international vines.
Naples Wine Challenge Competition
The novelty of 2017 is the “Napoli Wine Challenge” a competition open to all companies who join the Neapolitan festival. From 8 to 13 May a jury of experts will join for the first tasting phase. There are five categories of wines in competition: red, white, rosé, sparkling and sweet wines. Each company can propose a maximum of four samples. The finalist wines will be 50 and only one for each category will be awarded.
