Metronapoli confirmed the nightly extension of the races for Vomero Notte. Here are which roads will be closed to traffic
After showing you the events program of Vomero Notte 2013, the second edition of the Notte Bianca del Vomero to be held from Saturday 12 October at 18 up to 3 on Sunday 13 October, we provide you with information on how to reach the event, how to get around, the parking lots and which roads will be closed to traffic.
Metropolitan and Funicular
Unfortunately the presence of subway lines Line 1 and the Funicolari Centrale and Chiaia until late at night has not yet been confirmed by the Metronapoli company. Subways and funiculars may observe the ordinary closing time on Saturday evening: 23 pm for the subway, 00 am for the funicular. Therefore the staff of Vomero Notte recommends calling the Metronapoli call center at 800-56886 on the day of the event itself.
SECURITY UPDATE TRAINING
Metronapoli confirmed the extension of the races of subway 1 line and Central and Chiaia funiculars up to 3: 00 at night on Sunday 13 October 2013. Last race from Dante hours 3: 00; last race from Piscinola hours 2: 30
Open up to 3: 00 also the car parks managed by Napolipark of Chiaiano and Frullone, where you can leave the cars and move with metro and funiculars.
The station Vanvitelli will anticipate closing at 21:30. Until the end of the service trains will transit without stopping. Passengers wishing to reach the central area of the event can get off at nearby train stations Gold Medals and Four Days.
Bus Anm
The lines of the Anm bus they have placed the variation of their lines that will observe the following variations of the route:
- the 181 line, departing from Piazzale Tecchio, limits the route to the Collana Stadium along via Gemito, via Rossini, via Acitillo, via Ribera, via Gemito and its route;
- the C35, C36 and V1 lines are suspended with last travels useful at 16.00;
- the C44 line, departing from Piazza Leonardo along Via Suarez and Via Menzinger and not Viale Michelangelo;

- line C41 limits the route to Piazza Medaglie d'Oro;
- the N3 line, coming from Piazza Muzii, runs along via Piscicelli via Cortese, via Capocci, via Niutta and piazza Muzii;
- line N7, coming from via Saverio Altamura, runs along via Simone Martini, via Jannelli, via Mariano Semmola and via Antonino D'Antona.
The lines 181, C31, C32, C33, 128 will be guaranteed up to 00: 00
Night lines N7: Hospitals-Vomero-Fuorigrotta area, N3: Vomero-Museum-Central Station-Brin; N2: Fuorigrotta-Posillipo will have frequency of 15 / 20 minutes, until 5: 00 hours of the morning.
Roads closed to traffic
From 17:00 and until the end of the event the traffic device will expect the prohibition of vehicular transit in the streets and squares of the Vomero and Arenella districts, inside the perimeter delimited by the following streets:
via Giotto, piazza Medaglie d'Oro lower hemicycle, via G. Menzinger, via E. Suarez, piazza Leonardo, ascent Cacciottolì, viale Raffaello, via G. Donito, via T. Angelini, via Pedamentina, via Vianelli, via F. Palizzi , violet Cimarosa, via D. Cimarosa, piazza Fuga, via A. Vaccaro, via M. Preti, via F. Cilea, via V. Gemito, piazza 4 Giornate, via Don Luigi Sturzo, via Arenella, viale S. Anna, via GB Ruppolo, Via Giotto.
From 8:00 am on 12 October 2013 until ceased needs on 13 October 2013, the Tow Away Zone in the following streets:
via D'Annibale, piazza Fanzago, via Alvino, via Tito Angelini (between via Caccavello and piazzale San Martino); piazza degli Artisti to allow the setting up of PMA (Advanced Medical Post).
