Wine & flight is an event at Capodichino airport to celebrate Falerno wine between tastings and events.
Throughout the month of January 2017 Villa Matilda, historic winery that has rediscovered and brought back into production the Falerno del Massico, will transform the "Italian Tradition Cocktail Bar", located on the ground floor of theCapodichino airport before boarding. In fact, it will become a cellar with barrels and large bottles to celebrate Campania wines in collaboration with Gesac-airports of Naples with a great event called “Wine & Flight”.
The bar is open to all and a busy program of events will take place tastings, readings e cooking show with three special events that will see the participation of exceptional guests. Furthermore, throughout the month from 11:30 to 15:00 it will be possible to know and learn how to taste a selection of wines of Villa Matilde all from Campania with the help of the sommeliers as well as learn the right combinations or even just have an answer to curiosity or questions.
On the occasion of the events, all the participants can take advantage of the multi-storey car park at the airport only two euros for the duration of the scheduled events.

Culinary performance by chef Gianluca D'Agostino who, accompanied by live jazz music, will offer dishes paired with both red and white Falerno. Tasting of the dishes prepared will follow.

Cooking lesson held by chef Carlo Olivari who will teach how to make an aperitif in an easy and gourmet way with mousses and croutons and the best pairings with wines.
