The "Night of the Museums" in Naples promises to be full of events and sites to visit, here are all the events!
The next 16 May 2015 will return, throughout Europe, the "Nuit Europeenne des Musees", the "Night of Museums" which will also see the city of Napoli.
The event will allow you to participate in special guided tours at Neapolitan museums and archaeological sites at an unusual time and in a different atmosphere, at night. The initiative will also be dedicated to all those who, during the day, cannot appreciate all the beauty and charm that the priceless city heritage has to offer.
At the moment to join the extraordinary initiative are three important museums in Campania such as the Museum Complex of Santa Maria delle Anime of Purgatory in Arco, the Museum of the Sea and the beautiful Archaeological Park of Paestum.
Museum Complex of Santa Maria delle Anime of Purgatory in Arco
The beautiful museum pole with "The Night of Paraments" will open the doors to citizens and tourists for an evocative visit to the discovery of the beauties exhibited and the wardrobes of the Sancta Chamber where liturgical finds will be highlighted, gold and silver embroideries made with the technique ofagopittura, religious vestments and singular sacred vestments with unique colors and ornaments. The museum complex will be open during the day according to the usual timetable from 10: 00 to 17: 00, and then re-open again at 19: 00.

Extraordinary evening opening on the occasion of the Night of Museums with guided tours included in the input fee:

- free (under 6, tour guides in the activity, accredited journalists, Icom members)
The visits will begin at 19: 00 and will continue with 30 minutes per group of max 30 / 35 people. The last visit will be done at 22: 30.

Museum of the Sea
Il Museum of the Sea di Bagnoli, will join the Night of Museums by making its visitors available to visitors precious scientific heritage. Specifically in the program appear three initiatives that will immerse the participants in magical atmospheres made of poetry, music, gastronomy, shows and observations of stars and satellites.

Archaeological Park of Paestum
The Night of Museums will also come to Paestum, in Cilento, where citizens can participate in the "Journey through the hidden treasures of the Museum", an exceptional guided tour of the funeral deposits depots. A beautiful initiative that will bring to light artistic masterpieces and the main restoration techniques carried out on the paintings.
