Ali and Nino will stage a story about the dialectic between Europe and Asia, Christianity and Islam at the Teatro Il Primo di Napoli.

Il 3 April 2016, Il Primo Theater in Naples, the show will be staged Ali and Nino, a scenic-theatrical reading freely based on the novel by Kurban Said bearing the same title. The adaptation is by Armando Rotondi and directed by Claudio Boschi, also actor and protagonist.

The story leads the viewer into a travel between Asia and Europe deepening the encounter / clash between the two continents declined in the continuous dialectics between Islam and Christianity, war and peace ed honor and shame. All this through the stories of two lovers who, in fact, profess different religions (she is Christian and he is Muslim) and who take us from the Caspian coast to the old town of Baku with all its liveliness, arriving in Persia through Georgia and Dagestan.

The author of the work, Kurban Said (pseudonym of Lev Nussimbaum), was a journalist and writer born in Baku in 1903 and soon forced to leave the city with his family due to the Bolsheviks taking power. During his life he traveled constantly between Asia and Europe, also settling for a period in Berlin, a city from which he was forced to leave due to the rise of Hitler. Said's experiences are reflected in his works for he himself was converted into a Muslim (he was a Jew).

The protagonist of the show, the actor Claudio Boschi, is a Neapolitan who then moved to Rome where, after some experiences on TV, he decided to devote himself to the theater. And the 3 April will delight the public of Naples with the show Ali and Nino, which is part of the East of the World review.
