We knew him as Petit, but his real name is Salvatore Moccia the young singer who joined the Amici school. For many of them it is one of the most important goals and even more so for talents like Petit. In fact, barely of age he already has a great opportunity.
Born in Rome the 23 August 2005, his father is of Neapolitan origins, while his mother is French. This is the origin of her stage name. At the moment we don't know if she is fiance or single.
Career as a footballer: from football to music
Petit has had the big one since he was little passion for music, but before dedicating himself to this world he had put all his energies on football. In fact, 'for several years he played in the Avellino team in Serie C.
Subsequently, he decided to dedicate himself entirely to the world of music and this decision comes after the tragic one loss of grandmother. In fact, he discovers that writing songs and music in general is almost a therapy to overcome that pain.
Initially he dedicated himself to Californian rap and to the Italian one, managing to bring out its true multicultural origins.

Salvatore Moccia is one of the singers of Amici and he himself explained what his stage name means. In fact, he explained that he indicates a person he has faced difficulties, but inside himself he considers himself to be a person of great value.
Who is his aunt
One of the Curiosity that we discovered about Petit is his family relationship with Riccardo Mandolini, the actor who played Damiano in television series branded Netflix, Baby. Riccardo and Salvatore are in fact cousins and consequently the famous theater actress Nadia Rinaldi she is his aunt.

During his presentation, Maria DeFilippi described Small like a boy who doesn't get angry easily and who prefers tranquility. He was very close to his grandmother and has not cried since her passing. He shows up at the auditions saying that he started compose his own songs at just 13 years old and at 15 he bought his first microphone.
Before winning the heart of Rudy Zerby, the teacher who wanted him inside the school, Petit in the summer of 2022 had published on Spotify his first single titled Taki taki, which had achieved great success.
At the auditions he proposes his own unprecedented entitled Brooklyn and to "tease" him Zerbi asks him to sing Franco Califano's song, Everything else is boring. The teacher then decided to bet big on him and him assign one of the singing banks.
