Even the Royal Palace of Caserta invaded by colorful animals of Cracking Art with wolves, frogs swallows, snails and meerkats!

Remember the giant and colorful snails that are found in the Garibaldi station of Naples? Good, from the 22 June 2016 similar installations, which are part of the movement of the Cracking Art, have also been included in the Palace of Caserta.

These structures, made with recycled and regenerated plastic, will give an extra touch of vitality to the whole structure and its exteriors. But this time it is not just about snails, but about many different animals that will form the "Reggia Regeneration".

The animals installed are at least 50 and reproduce wolves, frogs, swallows, snails, meerkats and the aforementioned snails. They will be found both at the entrance to the Palace and along the Cannocchiale, that is the gallery that connects to the main avenue of the Park. Furthermore, the frogs were literally thrown into the fountain on the occasion of the inauguration.

During the period of the exhibition, which will last until August 30, it will also be possible to buy a minisculpture of a frog at 10 €, a figure that will support the restoration and maintenance of the fountains.

Pets

As mentioned, several species of animals have been installed and the creators of Cracking Art have explained why the choice has fallen on some in particular, clarifying the symbolism.

Wolf: symbol of strength and solidity, it also refers to the idea of ​​the herd acting for the good of the community.

Frog: it is the symbol of metamorphosis and of the link between water and earth. His verse, commonly identified with a cra cra which brings to mind the stagnation, it is also a reference to the cracked cracking which on the contrary represents movement.

Snail: the shape of the snail can also be traced back to emails, so which animal is more current than this? It brings to mind communication and also remembers the auricle, hence listening.

 

Suricate: animal very resistant and able to collaborate, is a symbol of sociability.

Swallow: refers to both travel and cohabitation, because it builds its nest on the houses already inhabited.
