The Royal Palace of Caserta makes an extraordinary evening opening with admission at 3 euros, concerts, guided tours and exhibitions!

On Sunday 9 September 2018 the Royal Palace of Caserta will be opening its doors until 22.30pm, offering a programme that includes concerts , visits to the royal rooms and a 3 euro entrance ticket for those entering from 19.30pm.

This event is part of the September initiatives at the Royal Palace , which includes many events and a reenactment of a hot air balloon flight. Sunday's cultural events begin in the morning with a classical music concert and continue into the evening with tours led by Royal Palace staff , which will help you learn more about the history of the Royal Palace. Furthermore, during the tours, there will also be musical accompaniment with two concerts.

Finally, it will be possible to visit the temporary exhibitions in the Historic Apartments: the photographic exhibition Campania Mirabilis , the installations of Organismi Estremofili and Tempus-Time , the original plates of the Fumetti Nei Musei project and the multimedia exhibition Modigliani Opera , not included in the ticket price.

We begin in the Palatine Chapel with a classical music concert performed by the " Gino Neri " orchestra, a 40-piece ensemble featuring both plectrum and plucked string instruments. There are classic mandolas and mandolins, as well as some unique instruments, created to perform a symphonic repertoire of over 400 pieces.

Admission is €3 , valid for visiting the Historic Apartments and part of the Park. During the visit, there will be two concerts : one in the Upper Vestibule with soprano Maria Massa and one along the Telescope with the “Virginia Sorrentino Quartet.”
