Festival Artecinema in Naples, a journey among the main protagonists of contemporary art of the last fifty years!
Il 2015 Artecinema Festival, international film festival on contemporary art, is part of the reviews of Cinema Marathon in Naples and the review has reached its 20es edition.
Will take place 15 from October to 18 2015 andinaugural event, curated by Laura Trisorio, will take place on Thursday 15 October at the San Carlo Theater of Naples. During the evening, the film by Marco Wilms will be presented in the national premiere "Art War" dedicated to the use of street art as a means of opposition in Egypt during the Arab Spring and the film by Jill Nicholls "Imagine ... Jeff Koons: Diary of a Seducer" focused on the uniqueness of this eclectic artist.
In the following days the film screening will continue, as well as at the Teatro San Carlo, al Augustan theater and it will be an opportunity to admire a series of documentaries including biographies, interviews and narrations, broken down into sections Art and surroundings, Architecture e Photography and dedicated to the main artists, architects and photographers who have worked in the last fifty years.
The documentary films, mostly in the first national vision, are all in original language but translated simultaneously with the help of headphones. The screenings will be accompanied by a series of debates with the directors, artists and producers of the festival.
In addition, the "Artecinema" initiative will once again focus on its detail interest in social issues through morning screenings for school children at the French Institute Grenoble, as well projections for prisoners in the district house of Secondigliano.
