Baccalà Village emerges as a revolutionary project, the first village entirely dedicated to cod . This event is designed for lovers of this delicacy, rooted in the Campania gastronomic tradition, and for anyone interested in discovering the flavors and characteristics of a fish once considered modest.

Cod is particularly prized in the Campania region , where it is cooked according to a multitude of traditional and innovative recipes. The Traveling Cod Village offers a unique opportunity to delve into this world of aromas and flavors.

After stopping in Nocera, the village moved to Caivano , Naples, from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th June 2023.

The event's goal is to showcase some of the most important and innovative food and wine producers in Campania . The Village will feature stands offering tastings of food and wine , including wines, beers, pasta, tomato-based products, and much more, allowing visitors to savor and share local specialties.

Show-cooking and entertainment for everyone

The Baccalà Village isn't just about food: visitors will be able to watch cooking shows with renowned chefs, some of whom are internationally renowned, who will prepare their exquisite recipes live, all strictly cod-focused.

The event program also includes social events and shows for adults and children. Artists from various genres will perform live, while shows and games will be dedicated to the little ones.

There will be no shortage of cultural initiatives , such as book presentations and local promotional activities, as well as performances by street artists, cabaret artists and comedians, all expertly organised to ensure visitors enjoy days of fun and good food.
