The Campania Region enters the red zone, as requested by Vincenzo De Luca for a long time. Here's what changes.
Campania will enter the red zone, together with Tuscany. According to the Control Room-Iss on the monitoring of the Covid infection "the data provided by the Regions are compatible with the attribution of the measures for the red zone to Campania and Tuscany". This is what Ansa publishes on its website.
In addition, the mayor of Naples Luigi De Magistris said he made a phone call to the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and received from him the confirmation of the next passage of our region in the red zone. The news was also confirmed by Ansa and the provision will start from Sunday 15 November 2020.
President De Luca had been calling for the red zone since October
In the live broadcast of today 13 November the President of the Region, Vincenzo De Luca, declared for the umpteenth time that he had invoked the red zone for a long time. His words: "We were about to close everything in October, for a month, to have an operation to stop the infection and that would have made us feel safe at Christmas ".
Was he probably right? Would so many infections due to Coronavirus have been avoided?
Campania in the red zone: this is what changes
- Travel prohibited, even within its own municipality, at any time, except for reasons of work, necessity and health; of course, travel from one Region to another and from one Municipality to another is also prohibited;
- Closed of bars and restaurants every day. Allowed thetake away until 22 pm, while home delivery has restrictions.
- Shops closed, except those who sell essential goods, ie supermarkets, food and necessities. Newsagents, tobacconists, pharmacies and parapharmacies, laundries, hairdressers and barbers are open. The beauty centers remain closed;
- Distance learning: secondary school of second grade, second and third grade. An ordinance of the region, however, has ordered the closure of all schools, from childhood onwards, until November 14. We await further news to find out if it will continue like this;
- Sports competitions suspended, except those of national interest from CONI and CIP. Activities in sports centers are also prohibited.
- You can do physical activity near your home and sports activities only outdoors in individual form;
- Museums, international, theaters, movies, gyms, gaming rooms, betting rooms (also in bars and tobacconists), closed bingo
- For public transport, the filling only up to 50%, except for school transport.
