Covid-19 in Campania: here are the possible hypotheses of the new DPCM that will go into effect starting from 7 January 2021!
At the end of the Christmas holidays and therefore starting from January 7 2021 a new Ministerial decree that will establish new rules and new rulesti throughout our peninsula, given that the same day the restrictions decided by law decree n. 172/2020.
There will therefore be a redefinition with regard to the high, medium and low risk areas which correspond respectively to the colors red, orange and yellow and probably an extension of the State of Emergency proclaimed in October 2020 and which will expire on January 31, 2021.
We therefore report the possible new hypotheses as regards the Covid-19 situation in Campania.
Yellow zone and school reopening
Probably, if the curve of new positives at Covid-19 does not increase, the Campania region starting from 7 or 15 January it could become yellow zone, obviously there will still be limitations to avoid frustrating all the efforts made so far.
For the situation schools in Campania, the president of the Region Vincenzo De Luca announced that the January 7 probably they will resume the first and second elementary schools, on the 11th the primary school, on the 18th the three classes of the lower secondary school and on the 25th the upper secondary school, although still no decision about it is been confirmed.
Curfew and hygiene rules
The curfew will come confirmed again, there will therefore be a ban on driving on the street after 22:00. Therefore, the hygiene rules are also confirmed mandatory use of the mask as a protective device both outdoors and indoors and an obligation of social distancing of at least 1 meter.
Prohibition of gatherings and the possibility for the mayors to close squares and streets if necessary.
Bars and restaurants
For bars and restaurants, the previous rules will apply opening until 18:00, a maximum of four people can sit at the table and the obligation to wear a mask when not eating. Takeaway and home delivery allowed.
Shops
Shops will be open but with closing time no longer extended, the shopping centers will be closed on holidays and days before holidays.
Gyms and swimming pools
As for the situation of the gyms, the Ministry of Sport together with the experts is evaluating the possibility of opening gyms and swimming pools starting from January 15, 2021, but only for individual use.
