Full program of the 2014 New Year which will take place between Piazza del Plebiscito and the Lungomare.
The most important event of the New Year 2014 is undoubtedly what will involve Piazza del Plebiscito and Promenade freed of Naples.
We have already talked about the event in general, but the specific program of the 31 night / night of December 2013 was still Work in progress. After a short wait, we show you the Full 2014 New Year's Program which will be divided into various events that will be able to entertain the Neapolitans from 23.00 pm until dawn.
Here's how the New Year will take place between Piazza Plebiscito and Lungomare:
Piazza Plebiscito
Two will be mounted in the square screens which in addition to videos and general photos, will also project the photos you will send! In fact, anyone can send images, messages or even short video greetings via email (napoli2014@comune.napoli.it) or on Twitter (#napoli2014).
The photographic shots must be in jpg or png format and cannot exceed 3 Mb overall. The videos must have a maximum duration of 10 seconds. The subject of the email must be "Napoli2014". In any case, for all the photos and videos sent, the release for their free use is understood to be acquired. The Municipality of Naples reserves the right not to use photos or videos containing images not strictly related to the event. The photos and videos transmitted, regardless of their use, will not be returned.
Launch flying lanterns | 23.00 hours Lantern launch | Rotonda Diaz | 00.10 am
For logistical reasons, the collection of flying lanterns has been moved to the appropriate point on the Rotonda Diaz near the beach. The delivery of the lanterns will begin at 00,10 on 1 January 2014 and will continue until 1,00; the launch will take place shortly after. Instructions for synchronized launch will be communicated from the stage located at the Diaz roundabout. Both on the big screen in Piazza del Plebiscito and on the stage at the Diaz roundabout, information on times, pick-up and synchronization methods will be provided. You can then participate in the toast in Piazza del Plebiscito and then move after midnight at the Diaz roundabout.
The lanterns will be distributed free to the participants, but you will have to specify if you want to be "lighters" or "launchers".
Through the appropriate form, made available from the official page of the service, you can:
- Book your lantern (each lantern requires two people to launch).
- offer as Social Lighter who have the task of lighting a group of lanterns.
Those who have booked the lanterns can start to collect them from 22.00. Other lanterns will be available without reservation and will always be distributed at zero price in Piazza Plebiscito.
Fireworks show at Castel dell'Ovo | 01.00 hours 01.30 hours
An hour and a half after midnight, participants can attend the fireworks display. THE fireworks illuminate the Neapolitan castle and will mirror the majestic waters of the sea along the seafront.
Great Disco on the waterfront of Naples
The seafront freed of Naples becomes the most great nightclub of Italy! The Neapolitans will be able to let loose in 4 location different and in each you can dance a particular genre.
Largo Diaz (Dance Floor)
From 22.00 to 06.00 in the morning you can dance on the DJ Cube, a gigantic cube mounted specifically. The music will touch various genres:
- 22.00: Italian music in dance version with Radio Kiss Kiss Italia and "Balla Italiano", the famous radio format made famous by the immortal well-known evenings
- 01 hours: 30: international dance music: from commercial successes to international house hits. Present the DJs and vocalists of Radio Kiss Kiss.
- The evening continues and ends with Radio Ibiza, the dance music radio.
Piazza Vittoria (ive music and hip hop)
The stage will be placed in the pedestrian area of Piazza Vittoria and the evening's dance program will be based on 2 different shows: the live music of the Neapolitan singer-songwriters and the DJ set of hip hop music.
- First Part: it starts at 02.00 with the live music of the new emerging Neapolitan songwriters: Claudia Megrè, Nelson, Principe and Socio M, Livio Cori, Diatriba, Radical Kitch, JFK and his beautiful Bionda, Lucariello, Ania Cecilia and many others.
- Second Part: after the Neapolitan singers will start the hip hop music (national and international) of the DJ SET.
Via Partenope (Latin American)
A new and different dance floor dedicated to Latin American music will accompany the participants from 02: 00 to 06: 00.
Borgo Marinari (Revival 70 and 80)
Another area dedicated to dance music of the 70 and 80 years. At the show will participate Ivano Petagna from Radio Kiss Kiss Naples and Raoul from Radio Ibiza. The show will continue until 06.00 in the morning.
Everything will be broadcast live on radio throughout the country on Radio Kiss Kiss, in the Campania region on Radio Ibiza and live on TV on Napoli TV
