Public means available for 2014 New Year's Eve in Naples
Napoli prepares to stay awake for the night of New Year. At the midnight 31 2013 December, the current year will be past and we will enter the 2014.
One year, as De Magistris states, rich in hope and less precarious. The Neapolitans start planning their night, but as always there is the problem of traffic. How to move during the New Year's night in Naples? Not everyone can / want to take their car, for this reason our city strengthens some public transport for the long night.
Metropolitan
Line 1 (from Piscinola to the university stop): non-stop service all night until 13.00 pm on January 1st 2014. The service on the first day of the year is suspended after the last run departing from Piscinola at 12.20 to resume with the train leaving at 16.39 from Piscinola and with the train at 17.19 from the Garibaldi station (until end of service at 22.30).
Funicolare
The same goes for the funiculars that will carry out service all night and morning, until hours 13.00 of the 1 January 1st 2014. After a short closing afternoon, the races start again at 16.30 hours until the end of the service. For the Funicular di Montesanto e Mergellina instead, Tuesday December 31 the last ride is ore 19.40. 1 January last run 13.00 hours.
ANM bus
31 December 2013: service will terminate at 20: 00 approximately. No night service available.
1 January 2014: service suspension between 13: 30 and 16: 00 hours. Starting from 16: 30, a reduced service will be available.
EAV
Reductions for the 31 December 2013 and the 1 January 2014. On the first day of the year, the service will be completely suspended from 06.00 to 08.00 and from 13.00 to 24.00.
