The Capodimonte Observatory has been in operation since 1819, it is one of the twelve Italian observatories that make up the National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) and today has about 70 people including researchers, students and collaborators who contribute to the continuous evolution of this world boundless which is astrophysics.

Il evening program It consists in visit to the Planetarium, an instrument that simulates the movements of the celestial sphere, with the experience of an evocative virtual journey between constellations and nebulae. You will then be visiting the Pavilion of the meridian circle of Repsold, a steel dome that houses an instrument built in 1870, capable of calculating the exact position of a star. And finally, there will be astronomical observations, if the weather conditions will be favorable.

Entrance is allowed only on booking, through an email with the names of the participants and awaiting confirmation for availability.
