Capri Watch Cup 2016 in Naples: tennis tournament

The Naples Tennis Club will host one of the leading international tennis events, the highly anticipated Capri Watch Cup 2016!

In the coming days Naples welcomes great tennis: from 2 to 10 April 2016 the Capri Watch Cup on the Tennis Club court, which will have Fideuram Private Banker as its main sponsor. The Neapolitan races will open the season of the European challengers on clay as part of the ATP Challenger Tour and will see the main protagonists of international tennis.

Launched in the 1995, the event is an important event since the first edition springboard for many professionals: Juan Carlos Ferrero and Guga Kuerten are among the tennis players that the review has consecrated to world stars. This year there will be seven Italians and various world-renowned tennis players, among which stand out Damir Dzumhur, Robin Haase, Krajinovic and Granolers.

But on the fields of the Villa Comunale, a stone's throw from the seafront, there is also space for solidarity, as evidenced by the draw of the racket used by Flavia Pennetta, winner of the Us Open 2015: the proceeds will go to the Rione Sanità boys to help them continue their studies.

Admission is free on qualifying days, from the 2 to the 7 April.
