Naples Aquarium, new timetables in August and mandatory Green Pass

The Naples Aquarium, located inside the Anton Dorhn station, in the Villa Comunale, is the oldest aquarium in all of Italy. Inside it houses 19 tanks and 200 species divided into animals and vegetables.

The facility is currently open to the public, but in August there will be new visiting hours and some rules which were determined in the context of the Coronavirus health emergency. Let's see which ones.

The new opening hours of the Naples Aquarium

Starting from Sunday 1 and until Tuesday 31 August 2021 the Naples Aquarium in the Villa Comunale will adopt the following times: from Monday to Sunday 10:00 am - 13:00 am e from 17:00 to 20:45. Entries will be possible every 45 minutes, with last admission at 20:00.

Tickets and the new rules

In order to visit the wonderful Naples Aquarium it will be necessary to buy a ticket exclusively online to the site indicated in the information mirror and read all the rules to limit the spread of Covid-19. Once you have purchased the ticket, it will be sent to you in the form of a pdf to the email entered during the entire procedure which you will then have to show at the entrance.

Furthermore, starting from August 6, as required by the new decree, the visit to the Aquarium will be allowed only to subjects with Green pass.

Dogs are not allowed in, except guide dogs, cannot be used the flash and lean with your hands on the acrylics of the display tanks. Any changes will be published on the facebook page and on the official website of the Anton Dohrn Foundation.
