At the Palace of Portici there will be creative workshops, stories and guided tours to celebrate the 2017 Carnival!
Among the many events of Carnival in Naples could not miss that one Palace of Portici, scheduled for Sunday 26 February 2017.
The elegant Royal Palace has provided a calendar of events for adults and one for children with initiatives that will lead everyone to the discovery of one of the most beautiful sites of interest in the region.
There will be guided tours, creative workshops and the study on the ways to celebrate Carnival at the Bourbon court.
Program
Events for adults
A guided tour to discover the origins carnescialesche and on how Carnival was celebrated in the Bourbon era, between traditions still in vogue and traditions now lost. The itinerary will pass through the Royal Chapel, the Chinese Room and other rooms of the Palace, to understand how both the people and the court loved this holiday. Everything will be accompanied by stories taken from the literature on Carnival.
The visit will take place with a minimum number.

Events for children
Creative workshops will be organized for make carnival masks with paper, leaves, acorns and twigs. In addition the little ones will learn the history of the Palace of Portici and they will discover that the King loved the exotic animals so much to own a Indian elephant, tigers, lions and giraffes.
The laboratories will take place with a minimum number.
