A new initiative to discover Castel Sant'Elmo with its ramparts that can be visited every day!

Thanks to the initiatia Seven days out of seven, finally the bastions of the Castel Sant'Elmo will be open every day to allow public visits. We will leave from 1 March 2016 and the initiative will also concern other areas of the castle, which will remain open instead every Tuesday: it is possible to visit of Piazza d'Armi, The stands and pedestrian walkways.

The castle will also host numerous artistic events aimed at discovering its spaces, but seen from an unusual visual perspective that will make us penetrate into the history and structure of the monument that enjoys a breathtaking view of the city and the suggestive gulf.

To inaugurate this initiative, several exciting events are scheduled to take place on weekends. The first, on March 6, will be a meeting entitled "Castel Sant'Elmo tells the city ".
The second, the 7 March, will be the Osmosis project proposed by the artist Valerio Rocco Orlando who will ask the audience two questions: "Do the artists speak your language?" And "What do you see from here?". The visitors' answers will be a choral work created by Orlando himself.

Following there will be two free tours in the Ambulacri, on the Piazza d'armi and on the panoramic walkways of Castel Sant'Elmo during which we will talk about the works in relation to the context, the artistic languages ​​and the connection between inside and outside, art and nature , current events and history.
