With our region entering the yellow zone , the regional director of Campania Museums Marta Ragozzino announced some excellent news: the reopening of state museums and archaeological parks.

Specifically, this reopening will take place according to a specific plan that includes the opening of 19 of the 25 museums in the network in the first week . You will then be able to visit these cultural sites every day , including weekends and holidays.

The museums that open in Campania

Open from April 26th

there will be the opening of Castel Sant'Elmo and the Certosa and Museum of San Martino in Naples , the Archaeological Museum of Eboli and the Middle Sele Valley, the archaeological area of ​​the Roman Theatre of Benevento and the Palazzo Della Dogana dei Grani in Atripalda.

Open from April 27th

The Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano , the Archaeological Museum of ancient Allifae , the Certosa di San Giacomo in Capri , the Archaeological Museum of Pontecagnano , the Georges Vallet Museum in Piano di Sorrento, the Archaeological Museum of the Sarno Valley , and then the Archaeological Museum of Nola, the one of ancient Capua and the one of the Caudine Sannio in Montesarchio will open.

From 28 April

The following will be open to the public: the MANN in Naples with its Gladiators exhibition , the Diego Aragona Pignatelli Cortes Museum , the Novecento Museum in Naples on the parade ground of Castel Sant'Elmo , the Duca di Martina Museum in Villa Floridiana , and the archaeological museums of Calatia in Maddaloni and Teano. On Thursday, the Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula will open, and on Saturday, May 1st, the Royal Palace of Caserta will also open.
