The exhibition “Evidence - A new state of art” at Castel Sant'Elmo in Naples compares the works, languages and techniques of 16 Italian and 16 Chinese contemporary artists.
Al Castel Sant'Elmo a Napoli an interesting one was set up exhibition that compares the works and reflections of Italian and Chinese artists. It is Evidence - A new state of art and started on February 11 for end on 11 March 2018.
They are 16 Italian artists of which you can admire the masterpieces and 16 are also the Chinese ones whose works are exhibited in the Castle Halls. The exhibition is curated by Alessandro Demma and Su Peng who give us the opportunity to learn about the profound expressions and experiments of artists who have created their art over about 50 years.
Coming from very different cultural backgrounds, Italian and Chinese artists have naturally created deeply different works, but together they create a interweaving of techniques, signs, symbols and languages very fascinating. There are drawings, photographs, sculptures, videos, installations and paintings and, as a whole, they make us discover in depth Chinese and Italian contemporary art with their affinities and divergences.
