Il Monumental Complex of the Vincentians a Napoli has recently become a vaccination hub to help especially the most needy to receive the doses of Covid vaccine.

It is an important Convent located in the Rione Sanità and the hub took the name of Drops of Charity. It is housed within the complex, but the structure hopes to flood soon to be able to reach many other people who need it.

It is more crucial than ever in this period to create solidarity and assistance networks and such realities are really important.

The vaccination center for those who live on the margins

At this center, set up by the Solidarity Pharmacy of the Diocese, mainly all those who live on the margins of society and are in need of assistance and in fact have already been vaccinated hundreds of immigrants e homeless since December, when the hub opened.

It is managed in collaboration with health authorities, in particular with the ASL Napoli 1 Centro.

In short, all those who remained excluded, for various reasons, from the prevention and health protection plans such as the vaccination cycle, especially for bureaucratic reasons. Furthermore, there are those who are unable to produce the necessary documentation to get vaccinated or those who are only afraid because they are alone and do not know who to ask for help.

Vaccine to a migrant in the Rione Sanità

The director Bianca Iengo and the president of the Catholic university professors Alfonso Barbarisi, who manage it, are very active and are committed to intercepting those who still needs to be vaccinated. The priority, in fact, is towards those who have not yet received any dose, but space is also given to those who must receive the next ones.
