Neapolitan medieval art will be the protagonist of six suggestive encounters at the most beautiful places in the city

THENeapolitan medieval art will be the protagonist of six free appointments at Museum of Capodimonte and in churches most fascinating in the city.

The review will start Thursday 12 March 2015 and will last until 11 May 2015 proposing, from time to time, the cultural and artistic beauties present in the churches of Santa Maria Donnaregina, Sant'Eligio, del Carmine and the Capodimonte museum complex.

The evocative guided tours, organized by the Special Superintendence for the Historical, Artistic and Ethno-anthropological Heritage and for the Museum Pole of the city of Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta and by the University of Naples Federico II, will present a excursus among the paintings, the sculptures, the architectures, the religious monuments and many masterpieces belonging to the precious medieval heritage present in Naples.

The second edition of the exceptional event is also organized in collaboration with the Goethe Institut of Naples and with theAssociation of Friends of Capodimonte Onlus, for years engaged in the enhancement and promotion of city centers and cultural centers, through extensive programs of guided tours, concerts, events and study days.
