At Città della Scienza, the Campania team will present its own cake for the Guinness World Record
The 1 March 2015, the Città della Scienza foundation will host the Campania team that will participate in the Guinness World Record for the creation of the largest cake in the world. In fact, next Sunday a part of the giant cake will be made that will be exhibited at Expo 2015 in Milan, which will open its doors in May.
The teams from Campania must realize a cake with a regional theme, which in its form reproduces the characteristic monuments and the food and wine excellences of Campania.
This particular cake will be added to the others prepared in the rest of Italy and together they will rebuild entirely our Belpaese, cross and delight for us Italians.
Furthermore, from the 9.00 to the 16.00 will be organized artistic and decorative demonstrations by the teams of our region and inspired by the famous Capodimonte ceramics. The demonstrators will be Vito Boccia, Giuseppe Venusio and Lidia Morè, the latter also at the head of the team competing for Guinness.
Finally, visitors are given a sweet surprise. In fact, they will be able to preview the cake designers delicacies.
