St. Patrick's Day in Città della Scienza: show at the Planetarium, observations of the sky and beer
Il 17 March of each year is celebrated the St. Patrick's Day, it is a feast of Christian origin which celebrates the patron saint of Ireland. On the occasion of this holiday, City of Science in Naples organize a special day to let you spend a few hours between fun and science.
Indeed, a wonderful experience will be organized at the planetarium which will be a real novelty, with spatial images and animations with live music, for an exciting journey among the constellations of the universe.
The program
The event is organized by City of Science in collaboration with Passione Astronomia and with the support of Euroavia Napoli and Seds Unina.
The day will be divided as follows:
- Reception in the Corporea Museum accompanied by a DJ set for a signature tasting KBirr beer and Leopoldo Taralleria Napoletana
- Immersive experience in the Planetarium with astronomical sound show by Rossella De Falco and her electric harp
- Direct observation of stars and other celestial bodies
There will be two time slots:
Group A 18pm-30pm
- 18pm Welcome cocktail
- 19:30 Sound in the Planetarium
- 20:30 Telescope observation
Group B 19pm – 30pm
- 19:30 Welcome cocktail
- 20:30 Sound in the Planetarium
- 21:30 Observation through the telescope
You can choose the time slot during the purchase. Furthermore, the tasting of a craft beer with taralli is included in the ticket.
