The Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples will also host Comicon Kids 2017, the event for children with meetings, workshops and cosplay!
From 28 April to 1 May 2017 will host the XIX edition of Naples Comicon at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples, an event that will also host the 1 pavilion Comicon Kids.
The aim of this event is to promote the culture of cinema, comics, photography and animation to the new generations.
This year's program is full of events, there will be meetings and workshops for the duration of the event.
Comicon Kids initiatives
Inside the Comicon Kids area you will find the area dedicated to the IMAGO Competition which this year will have as its theme "A city to play", here children will be free to observe the drawings and vote for what they prefer.
Every hour there will be gods WORKSHOPS where the little ones, with the help of experts, will be able to learn drawing techniques. There will be meetings with internationally known authors who collaborate with some publishing houses such as Tunué, BeccoGiallo and Panini.
The Italian School of Comix will carry out some workshops to bring the new generations closer to drawing and making comic stories. Thanks to the collaboration of the Fine Arts shop of Gino Ramaglia, some technical laboratories will be created to make the materials known.
Thanks to the collaboration of Panini e Disney workshops will be opened where children can create characters related to the Disney world.
Inside the Comicon Kids area there will be the Center of Melicoco Ludica Culture with a space created specifically for families in which play will be experienced as a means to stimulate creativity, creation and sight.
A novelty of the 2017 is the Ludoteca space, curated by Ludofficina, in which older children can sit at the tables and experiment with free demonstration games. There will be single games, tournaments or group matches to rediscover the taste of playing with friends, learn new games or brush up on those of the past.
There will be a small exhibition where some tables will be exhibited made by young artists of the Italian School of Comix.
There will also be the “Iocisto” bookshop which will offer children a series of titles related to their age.
Monday 1 May there will be the Comicon Cosplay Challenge Kids edited by KC Group in which many small cosplayers will participate.
