Concert of the Epiphany of Rai 1 in Naples in the Church of Santa Maria la Nova

A new appointment with the Epiphany Concert in the Church of Santa Maria la Nova in Naples: the event will be broadcast by Rai 1!

The special Epiphany concert will take place again this year in the evocative Church of Santa Maria La Nova in Naples.

The event, now in its twenty-sixth edition , will be recorded on 29 and 30 December 2020 and due to the restrictions for Covid-19 this recording will be done in the absence of the public who will obviously be able to follow the concert later on TV, precisely on Rai 1 on 5 January at 23.15 pm.

Epiphany concert 2021

The event is organized thanks to the Oltre il Chiostro non-profit association of Giuseppe Reale, who is the author of the show and produced for RAI by Dante Mariti's Melos International , together with the Musica dal Mondo Association.

The theme for this special event is "Hug Me," a clear symbolic message especially during this time when Covid-19 forces us to stay apart. The performance, live from the magnificent Church of Santa Maria la Nova, will send a virtual embrace from Naples to the entire audience.

Adding to the excitement will be the scenography, which will further enhance the Naples Complex with the work Vita Incandescente by Luigi Grossi, one of the most important artists of contemporary Naples.

The guests

It is no coincidence that among the guests there will be Andrea Sannino , who will enchant the audience with his very famous Abbraciame, and then Mario Biondi , with an emotional tribute to Pino Daniele, the great Peppino di Capri with Canzone Mia, Sal Da Vinci with Viento, Maria Nazionale, Peppe Barra and many others.

All the artists will be accompanied by the great Neapolitan Orchestra of Santa Chiara with conductor Adriano Pennino.
