The New Orchestra Scarlatti will welcome the 2016 with the New Year's concert in Naples paying homage to Pino Daniele!
Also this year the appointment with the New Year's concert of the New Scarlatti Orchestra in Naples. On January 1, 2016, the ensemble will perform at Mediterranean Theater of Mostra d'Oltremare with a rich and varied program that will present the works of the greatest classical composers of history.
During the Twenty-first New Year's Concert, entitled "Naples, Vienna and ..." it will be possible to listen to the works of Rossini, Donizetti, Strauss, Verdi, among others, and take an original musical itinerary that will also lead you through the notes of Neapolitan music. It will also be done tribute to Pino Daniele, one year after his death, and a tribute to Roberto De Simone. The pieces of these two great Neapolitan artists will be reinterpreted in symphonic version with the direction of Filippo Arlia and the voice of the sopranos Claudia Nicole, Naomi Rivieccio and the baritone Antonio Cappetta.
New Orcherstra Scarlatti's New Year's concert is part of the program of initiatives Christmas in Naples that until the 10 January I will propose many interesting events in the city.
