The concerts of ConCertosa are back with youth orchestras at the Certosa di San Martino in Naples, this year dedicated to the musician José Antonio Abreu
From Sunday 27 May to Sunday 17 June 2018 to the Certosa di San Martino Concerts will be held in Naples as part of the “ConCertosa” event which gives young musicians from difficult contexts the opportunity to perform.
The concerts will take place over four dates in the spectacular setting of the panoramic terrace of the Certosa. The initiative was born in 2015 under the push of the Management of the San Martino Museum to promote the importance ofcollective musical experience as a tool for growth.
This year's review, “Suonare e lottare”, is dedicated to the Venezuelan musician José Antonio Abreu, recently passed away, and founder of the "El Sistema", the integrated method of free and public music education, designed for children of the most disadvantaged socio-economic classes.
