Here are the characteristics of the masks that have arrived for citizens in Campania: how they are made and how to wash them!
As anticipated a few days ago, the masks purchased from the Campania Region are starting to arrive in the homes of many, so we are able to give you some more precise information on their characteristics.
In fact, having a package received by Poste Italiane to one of our users, we have read the "fitting instructions”Indicated regarding the possibility of washing them or not and the quantity. Let's see in detail.
The anti-contagion masks: washable and reusable
First of all, we can say that the package arrives in one well closed packaging in plastic that shows useful information printed. The masks are 2 (for adults only) and are washable 20 times. This is very important as it means they can be reused.
The packaging indicates that they can be wash at 30 degrees, without bleach, dry e can be ironed.
There is no ban on machine washing, so it is possible, but we recommend a delicate program.
Unfortunately, the region's packaging contains only 2 masks dedicated to adults, therefore the fears of the parents are confirmed: no mask for children.
The fabric of the masks
As indicated on the package, it is rodeo fabric 100% water repellent and breathable cotton. It does not have PFOA (i.e. perfluorooctanoic acid), which is harmful to the body, and is a product compliant with European Union standards.
Furthermore, it is made in Italy.
