Several places in Pozzuoli closed, including Lungomare, Lago d'Averno and Darsena, due to the emergency from Covid-19.
Il mayor of Pozzuoli Vincenzo Figliolia communicated the decision of close the Lungomare Pertini and other areas of the municipality due to the health emergency due to Covid-19.
In Pozzuoli the cases of contagion are increasing faster and faster and it is necessary to take these safety measures. Therefore, from 7 to 16 November 2020 they will be closed to the public:
- the Pertini seafront promenade
- the pedestrian section that surrounds Lake Averno
- the dock
- the villa of Lucrino adjacent to the municipal swimming pool
- centers for the elderly and all public and private sports facilities with the exception of those used for professional, semi-professional and amateur activities at national level
- the municipal offices
There are also variations regarding the parking hours:
- the areas of Molo Caligoliano and the Wholesale Fish Market will close every day at 20:30, except Sundays at 18:30
- the Multi-storey will remain open every day from 12 to 18:30.
The purpose, of course, is to protect the health of citizens, evaluating whether these measures will be able to decrease infections.
