Coronavirus health emergency: here are the new recommendations and measures to be respected!

The health emergency from Coronavirus in Italy, after more than a year it does not improve, on the contrary, unfortunately they have also arrived in recent months variants of the virus, however, the vaccination campaign continues, and even if with some insecurity it is probably the only one hope of a return to normality.

It is precisely in the context of this situation that the Ministry of Health together with Aifa, Iss and Inail, has issued new recommendations and measures that are fundamental to the fight against the pandemic from Covid-19. The document containing them is entitled “Interim indications on prevention and control measures for SARS-CoV-2 infections in terms of variants and vaccination”.

Obviously, the general rules of mask obligation e frequent hand sanitation but some have been introduced news, let's see what they are.

The distance

The Minestro della Salute, the Aifa, the ISS and Inail in the new document indicate of double the interpersonal distance, therefore up to two meters, in all those situations in which the mask is temporarily removed, therefore during the consumption of food or drinks.

The vaccine

The document also reports that even those who have already had Covid, regardless of whether they are symptomatic or not, should receive vaccination. For such individuals, the hypothesis of a single dose performed, however, at least 3 months after the infection and within 6 months of the same.

The speech changes, however, for all those people with conditions immunodeficiency, primary or secondary to pharmacological treatments, which, as the document states "must be vaccinated as soon as possible and with a vaccination cycle of two doses".

The quarantine

Even those who have undergone the vaccination but he has been in close contact with a Covid positive subject-19 will have to adopt the same behaviors valid for a person not subjected to vaccination. Therefore, if asymptomatic, will have to observe 10 days of quarantine from the last exposure with a negative antigen or molecular test on the 14th day, or XNUMX days from the last exposure.

Vaccines and variants

The vaccine, as can be read from the document, turns out effective in the prevention of symptomatic disease, but the protection to it is never 100% and its duration is not yet known. Furthermore, it is not yet clear whether a vaccinated person can still acquire the infection and possibly also transmit it.

As for the variants, it seems that some of them can evade the immune response of vaccines.
