Naples, extraordinary traffic device for ECB meeting

On the occasion of the procession and the meeting of the Governing Council of the ECB at the Museo di Capodimonte for the 2 October 2014, an extraordinary traffic device was set up.

Expected, from 8: 30 until the early afternoon hours of Thursday 2 October, a procession that will start near the Colli Aminei station of the 1 Metro Line, up to the entrance of the Capodimonte Park along Viale Colli Aminei and Via Miano respectively.

The procession will take place at the meeting of the board of directors of the European Central Bank just for Thursday 2 October, which will take place at the Museum of Capodimonte.

To limit the impact of the same on urban mobility, especially that of the hospital area, about 50 points were identified that will be guarded by the Municipal Police, also, during the passage of the parade, the circulation will be inhibited on all the Viale Colli Aminei in both directions and on all the input branches to it, namely:

  • Piazzale Cardarelli,
  • via Saverio Gatto,
  • climb Scudillo,
  • tank way,
  • Avenue of Porcelains,
  • via Nicolardi,
  • private avenue Farnese,
  • viale dei Pini,
  • Saia park,
  • via cardinale Prisco,
  • via Francesco Curia.

On all vehicles coming from Via D'Antona the obligation to turn on will be in force Via Pietro Castellino, while from Via Bernardo Cavallino the turn towards will be prevented Piazzale Cardarelli. Closed to traffic since the morning and as long as it is needed, the branch "Colli Aminei"Of the exit Hospital area of ​​the Tangenziale di Napoli, the exit "Capodimonte"Of the same will be passable only in the direction of Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi.

All driving vehicles via Nicolardi must take place at Via Vecchia San Rocco (where restraint controls will be established) and then continue on Via Nuova San Rocco and, subsequently, Via Miano to be able to reach the downtown area. Otherwise vehicles directed to the north of the city will have to travel Via Emilio Scaglione.

Prevented transit on Via Miano in both directions of travel to allow the passage of the parade. Meanwhile all vehicles coming from Amedeo di Savoia Course will be able to reverse the direction of travel at the Capodimonte tondo.

The same service for controlling parking bans on Via Vecchia San Rocco will also be established on Via Ianannelli.

Changes also to the circulation of buses circulating on Viale Colli Aminei e Via Miano starting from 8: 30 until you need it:

  • the C66 line (MN Colli Aminei -Ponti Rossi-Nicolini) will be suspended;
  • the C63 line (Nicolini-Ponti Rossi - National Museum) will limit the route to the Holy Face where it will reverse;
  • the R4 line (Hospitals-Colli Aminei-Municipio), from Cardarelli, will be routed via Via Cavallino, via Fontana, p. Gold Medals, via S. Rosa, Museum, p. Town Hall and vice versa;
  • the C40 line (Garibaldi-Ospedali-Colli Aminei) coming from the ring road, reached Cardarelli, will be routed via Cavallino, via Fontana, via Gigante, tangenziale Arenella, Garibaldi;
  • the C67 line, departing from Scampia, will ensure the connection along via Miano to the MN del Frullone;
  • the 2M line will carry out a relationship between the MN Frullone and Scampia;
  • the 178 line will be suspended.
