The ban on travel between Regions and Autonomous Provinces has been extended again: here are the rules and exceptions.

Il the ban on travel between regions in Italy has been extended to March 27, 2021, according to the new decree-law proposed by the Prime Minister Mario Draghi and by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza.

The decree extended this limitation due to the results of the epidemiological data relating to the Coronavirus. Indeed, cases of contagion in some regions have increased and the new variants of Covid-19 are of great concern.

The ban on travel between Regions and Autonomous Provinces: yellow, orange and red areas

This prohibition includes some derogations, as always, concerning the ability to move only for proven business reasons, situations of necessity o health reasons. Furthermore, you can always return to your residence, home or home.

In the orange and red areas it is not possible to cross the municipal borders, however, only in the red areas is it also forbidden to move to private homes other than one's own, unless these movements are due to the reasons already mentioned for the exceptions.

In both orange and yellow areas, trips to private homes other than their own, but only for a maximum of two people and children under 14 are also allowed, children under 14 over whom parental responsibility is exercised and disabled or non self-sufficient cohabiting people.

Finally, in the orange areas, where we remember you cannot move between municipalities, the derogation for municipalities with more than 5.000 inhabitants, where travel to different municipalities is allowed, but within 30 kilometers of the borders.

Recall that the curfew is always until 22.00 hours.
