Expo Japan is the festival on Japanese culture at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples between manga, technology, martial arts and sushi!
All projects Mostra d'Oltremare, as part of the very rich program of "Naples Meet the World", TheExpo Japan from 30 June to 2 July and from 7 to 9 July 2017. Within the festival it will be possible to get to know traditional Japan whose history dates back thousands of years and which still today does not cease to fascinate and amaze. His mystical culture, folklore, ancient ceremonies and traditional rituals make this Asian country one of the most evocative nations in the world and this magical atmosphere will be perfectly reproduced in Expo Japan.
Modern Japan
A way to understand what made Japan the technological superpower that is today, but also a country that dictates new social trends and innovative fashions. A journey through architecture, art, food, music, electronic consumption, hybrid cars and animation products.

An entire area of the festival will be dedicated to the many religions and philosophies that permeate the soul of Japan. The Festival will be swith traditional tools like Koto and Shamisen, there will be singing performances such as "Sakura" or "Yosaku" performed by sopranos and tenors, dances of the geishas and dances of the samurai. Among the guests, the musician Fuyuki, the singer Yohsuke or the soprano Eiko.
Maid, idol and J-pop
Music is much loved by young Japanese people and the pop that they listen to is sparkling, energetic and above all feminine. In fact, they are very followed Idol, singers and actresses girls who are very famous on TV and radio, but also the Maid, born in the Maid Cafè frequented by lovers of manga in which the maids are dressed in Victorian style clothing.
