Faimarathon the Naples marathon

The Faimarathon aims to protect the Italian artistic heritage and will also take place in Naples with a very suggestive itinerary

Faimarathon it is promoted by the FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano), in partnership with the Lotto Game, and is the only marathon to run with the eyes. The event will take place on 13 October 2013 throughout Italy and aims to protect the artistic, monumental, historical and naturalistic heritage by raising awareness of the population.

The last marathon saw the involvement of 25000 people and this year, with its second edition, it will touch 90 Italian cities. Those who participate will be able to watch, perhaps even for the first time, the artistic treasures of your city. In fact, thanks to the unpublished itineraries organized by the FAI Delegations, the route will be organized in different stages including theaters, palaces, bridges, historic gardens and historic shops and many other places of interest not only artistic, but also scenic and social.

In Naples the Faimarathon will start from the Certosa di San Martino

The race will not be competitive everyone can participate. Simply register via the online form and present yourself on 13 October at the place chosen for your city.

A Napoli, the Faimarathon will start from the Certosa di San Martino with a 2k route lasting 2 hours and will include 7 stages: Largo San Martino, Church and Certosa di San Martino, Chiostro Grande, Giardini della Certosa and ancient walkway of the Monks, Pedamentina di San Martino, Scala di Montesanto and, finally, QI Intelligent District Laboratory.
