At Trentola Ducenta there will be the 2017 Pig Festival with many exquisite dishes, music, show dinners, exhibitions and a competition with prizes!
Trentola Ducenta will host the new appointment with the Feast of the pig, which will take place on 2 and 3 September 2017 with many food stands, show dinners, exhibitions, concerts, competition and much more.
This tasty party reaches its second edition and also this year promises to satisfy all the visitors who flock to try the local specialties. It will not only be a pleasant event for the palate and stomach, but also an opportunity to have fun with the many guests and scheduled events.
It will be a meeting between taste and entertainment thanks to Salumificio Rosotta which collaborated with the Pro Loco of Trentola Ducenta, in memory of the founders of the company of the same name.
The dishes of the pig festival
During the festival you can taste the pork prepared in many different ways and there will be also the sandwiches with pork cooked on a spit, casatiellor, sweets and lots of asprino wine. Do not miss the sandwich with the famous sausage sfruculiata Rosotta, a specialty of the sausage factory.

Saturday evening will open the food and exhibition stands and the photographic exhibition that traces the history of the Rosotta salami factory will be inaugurated.

At 20.00 there will be the live cooking show by the “narrating” chef Emilio Pompei, in collaboration with Chef Nino Cannavale, who will prepare traditional dishes by narrating them. On the guitar, for the music background, Alfonso Brandi.
