Il Bosco di Capodimonte in Naples welcomes the 2017 Mandarin Festival: activities for children, tastings and traditional music with free admission!
Those who love being in nature can not miss the 2017 Mandarin Festival in the program 2 and 3 December al Real Bosco di Capodimonte in Naples. The event celebrates an important anniversary, the two hundred years since the fruit was planted in the park.
There will be for the occasion tastings and educational activities for the little ones, as well as an information point that will explain to the visitors the nutritional properties of the mandarin. On the first day of the party, after the presentation press conference, there will be a recital of songs from the popular repertoire Neapolitan. The event is a free entry.
The event will lead to the discovery of two evocative spaces of the Wood: the Cellaio and the Torre Garden, already from the '700 destined to agricultural use and to the production of fine fruit for the Bourbons. The mandarin tree, originating in China, arrived in the Real Bosco di Capodimonte in 1817, after a first Neapolitan stop at the Botanical Garden in 1816.
