Panuozzi and Doc products protagonists at the Panuozzo Festival in Gragnano!
Da Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2015, to Gragnano, a town famous for its pasta production, whose high quality has earned the European PGI mark, will be celebrated Panuozzo Festival.
The panuozzo is a piece of bread about 30 cm long, made with the pizza dough, oval shaped, cooked in two times strictly wood and stuffed in various ways, but the most famous traditional one is the one with mozzarella and pancetta, which was made to taste in 2013, thanks to the Mascolo manufacturers (jealously guarding the secret recipe), also a Papa Francesco, who liked it and blessed it publicly.
During the party, numerous stands will be set up where the typical products of the area will be tasted.Gragnano enogastronomy and local, including the full-bodied DOC, with an intense ruby color that presents the froth with violet reflections, characterized by a sparkling flavor and a fruity scent.
