The Botanical Garden of Naples will become the location of the "Tree Festival" among workshops, markets, plants, flowers and much more to understand the importance of greenery!
How important are the trees? If we look around our neighborhoods, we see them there, mistreated, sometimes uprooted. Perhaps the neglect is the result of not knowing, maybe you do not appreciate thehuge gift that plants give us every moment of our life.
To spread the environmental culture so he will think about it "The Tree Festival" which will be held from 21 to 23 November 2014 at the Botanical Garden of the University of Naples Federico II.
The Neapolitan ecological lung will become the scene of the initiative that will involve schools, associations and all citizens. The main purpose of the event will be the sensitization of the public to the protection, education and culture of green areas.
Specifically, the Neapolitans will be able to adopt trees of the botanical garden and plant new ones, as well as having the opportunity to participate in gardening workshops, guided tours and training activities.
Also during the three days of celebration, it will also be set up "Colors of Autumn", a colorful market of flowers, plants and organic products. Many events with a single and fundamental common purpose: to encourage and increase the green in Naples and above all to respect the plants, flowers and trees that "embrace" us every day.
Because every tree produces oxygen, generates shade, even reduces the waves honor, and is at the head of a microclimate that in turn is part of a great ecosystem that finely regulates the habitat and life of living beings.
A tree in less then represents a piece less in the delicate and already precarious city balance. We understand that with the Tree Festival, the real protagonist of the event will be education to life.
